The Mercedes SL or 'Sport Light' series of Benz made its first appearance in 1954 with the model, 300SL Gullwing, which had a conspicuous upward opening door. This was followed by several successful versions down the line which were loaded with attractive and powerful features. The two-seater SL comes with some enviable features that offer a comfortable and safe drive combined with raw power and performance.
